General Entry:
A candidate who has completed 10+2 or its equivalent (10+2) or a diploma in EE, EC, CS, IT or TC from a recognized technical
board can enroll for the 1st semester of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
General Exit:
After successful completion of all the six semesters the
candidate will be eligible to obtain the degree of Bachelor of Computer Applications
(BCA). The candidate is then eligible to join the 3rd semester of Master of Computer
Applications (MCA) of KSOU after obtaining one-year experience in the field.
Lateral Entry:
- A candidate who has completed (10+2) or its equivalent
(10+2) or having a diploma in EE, EC, CS, IT, TC from a recognized
technical board and having one year experience in IT field can enroll for the 2nd
semester of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
- A candidate who has a diploma from any recognized university
and a diploma in EE, EC, CS, IT or TC from a recognized technical board and has
3 years experience in IT field can enroll for the 3rd semester of BCA.
Lateral Exit:
- After successful completion of the first two semesters, the
candidate will be eligible to obtain a certificate in Computer Application.
- After successful completion of the first four semesters, the
candidate will be eligible to obtain a Diploma in Computer Applications. The candidate
is also eligible to enroll for 5th semester of Int.MCA of KSOU.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

General entry:
A candidate who has completed a degree from any recognized
university (10+2) or a graduate who also holds a diploma from
any recognized technical board can enroll for the 1st semester of Master of Computer
Applications (MCA).
General Exit:
After successful completion of all the six semesters the
candidate will be eligible to obtain the degree of Master of Computer Applications
(MCA).

General Entry:

After successful completion of all ten semesters the candidate will be eligible
to obtain the degree of Integrated Master of Computer Applications (Int.MCA).
Lateral Entry:
- A candidate who has completed (10+2) or its equivalent
(10+2) with one year experience in IT field can enroll for the second
semester of Integrated MCA.
- A candidate who has a diploma in EE, EC, CS, IT or TC from
a recognized technical board can enroll for the 3rd semester of Integrated MCA.
- A candidate who has completed the first four semesters of
BCA from KSOU or a degree along with one year experience
in IT field can enroll for the 5th Semester of Integrated Master of Computer Application
(Int.MCA).
Lateral Exit:
- After successful completion of the first two semesters, the
candidate will be eligible to obtain a certificate in Computer Application.
- After successful completion of the first five semesters, the
candidate will be eligible to go to 6th Semester of BCA.
- After successful completion of the first eight semesters the

General Entry:
PUC 2 years course or 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE) conducted by any state with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as one of the languages of study or any other equivalent as per university guidelines of various Government recognized universities.
General Exit:
After successful completion of all the eight semesters the candidate will be eligible to obtain the degree of Bachelor of technology in Computer Science [B.Tech(CS)].
Lateral Entry:
- Candidates of 3 year Diploma program of any technical Board of any state is eligible for admission to the second year (3rd semester of the course). The candidates who have passed a qualifying examination other than PUC or 3 years diploma must produce and equivalent/eligibility certificate to obtain admission to the course.
- Candidates possessing B.Sc Degree with Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication or BCA from any Government Recognized University is eligible for admission to the third semester.

- After successful completion of the first two semesters, the candidate will be eligible to obtain a certificate in Computer Application.
